Audit Manager CPA

As Audit Manager at Desroches Partners, Ryan is concurrently responsible for both building client relationships, and for maintaining a thorough understanding of client operations, financial conditions, and the industries in which they operate. Leading a team of audit professionals, he is ultimately responsible for delegating and reviewing work, and for mentoring and cultivating the team members that perform the work. Ryan considers these relationships to be the most rewarding aspect of his job. He has also invested heavily in his own professional development, focusing on attaining an advanced knowledge of accounting literature, and leveraging it into strong analysis and technical advice.

Ryan chose accounting as a career many years ago during an internship, at the advice of a mentor. He obtained a Finance degree from Texas Tech University, and followed it up with a Masters in Accounting from the University of Houston. He entered the accounting profession in 2014.

A Houston native, Ryan and his wife Ashley have a growing family, complete with a poodle named Bubba and a cat named Kiki. He enjoys travel and the outdoors, specifically fishing, golf, hunting, and a good game of tennis. He’s also a Young Professional Member of the Casa de Esperanza de los Niños.
