Joseph Palacios

Audit Manager CPA

As an Audit Manager at Desroches Partners, Joseph oversees a variety of assurance engagements for privately held clients, including financial statement audits and reviews. He also plays a key role in the firm’s 401(k) audit practice and is actively involved in developing and leading the audit department’s annual case study and summer training programs. Through his experience serving clients across a wide range of industries, Joseph has developed a strong understanding of audit processes and best practices.

Joseph began his accounting career as an intern with Desroches Partners in 2018 before joining the firm full-time in 2020. He earned his CPA license in 2022 and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Houston.

Joseph enjoys helping clients navigate accounting and financial reporting challenges while building lasting relationships based on trust and communication. He is passionate about continuous learning, professional development, and is committed to delivering high-quality service to every client.

A Houston native, Joseph lives in the area with his wife and their dog, Teddy. Outside of work, he enjoys discovering new coffee shops, reading, and taking walks.
