Desroches Partners, the leading regional accounting firm headquartered in Houston, Texas, is pleased to announce its expansion to the Dallas market with the opening of a new office. Seasoned CPAs Aaron MacPhie and Tony DeYoung have joined the firm as Principals, effective November 1, 2020. Together, they bring over three decades of experience, and are responsible for leading the new Dallas division as it establishes clientele and grows its footprint.
The firm as a whole is focused on a growth culture. Professional services in tax, audit, and assurance are specifically tailored to high net worth individuals and complex, growth-driven, privately held businesses. The addition of Aaron and Tony will allow the firm to advance the caliber of services provided to its current client base, and will also facilitate growth in a new geographical market.
With his addition to the firm, Aaron MacPhie brings a unique ability to find solutions to complex issues, and communicate them in terms that resonate with clients. He has a passion for enhancing collaboration between clients and colleagues, maximizing results for a diverse client base. Prior to joining the firm, Aaron served as partner at a mid-market firm in Dallas. A graduate of Texas Tech University, Aaron comes to Desroches Partners with 22 years of experience in public accounting. He has worked extensively with multinational, multi-state, public, and privately held businesses, as well as high net worth individuals. In addition to his work experience, Aaron has also served on the boards of various charitable and civic organizations.
Tony DeYoung has a passion for business development, and nurturing relationships between business contacts and colleagues. He emphasizes the preeminence of the client in public accounting, ensuring those entrusting the firm with their finances are thoroughly and consistently apprised of relevant information. Tony is a graduate of Louisiana State University, and is a twelve-year veteran in public accounting. He’s served a variety of industries, and his extensive experience with investment partnerships, private equity, and financial services organizations has made him an invaluable resource to clientele. Tony has served as both Chairman and Treasurer of the North Texas Chapter of the Young Risk Management Association, and is currently serving on the board of the Risk Management Association, North Texas Chapter.
