David Amaya is a Tax Manager with 10 years of experience in public accounting. He is passionate about helping clients navigate complex tax matters and plan with confidence. He continues to expand his expertise in estate tax planning while providing thoughtful, practical solutions tailored to each client’s unique needs.

David believes strong client relationships are built on trust, communication, and a clear understanding of each client’s goals. He is committed to being a trusted resource for the clients he serves and enjoys building relationships that extend beyond individual tax engagements. He is equally passionate about mentoring colleagues and sharing his knowledge and experience with professionals who are beginning their careers in taxation.

A lifelong Houston-area resident, David attended Houston Baptist University, where he earned both a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy, graduating magna cum laude in 2016. His time at HBU was especially meaningful, as it was there that he built lasting friendships and met his wife, Erica.

David and Erica now live in Richmond with their daughter, Emma, and their Australian Shepherd, Mia. Outside of the office, David enjoys golfing, gaming with friends, and spending quality time with his family.
