Daniel is an Audit Manager at Desroches Partners, where he plays a pivotal role in overseeing daily audit procedures. An accountant for his entire professional career, Daniel has honed his skills in both the practical and theoretical aspects of auditing. His primary responsibilities include maintaining and developing client relationships, as well as mentoring and training audit staff members and interns. Daniel’s affinity for leadership and commitment to high professional standards make him a valuable asset to the firm.

Daniel’s journey into the accounting profession was inspired by his parents, who were educators and encouraged him to pursue knowledge, but also emphasized the importance of finding happiness in a vocation. Initially exploring the medical and engineering fields, he found his true calling after taking an accounting course in college. Completing his degree at Texas Tech University further equipped him with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in this field.

Blessed with a curious mind and relentless attitude, Daniel takes pride in his work and expects the same level of dedication from his colleagues. His ability to blend technical accounting concepts with interpersonal relationships and complex problem-solving makes him exceptionally good at what he does. He is also passionate about teaching and dedicates significant time to training the rising generation of accountants, ensuring they are well-prepared for the challenges ahead.

Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Daniel now resides in Houston with his wife Brenda, their cat Simba, and their Corgi, Winnie. Outside of work, he enjoys an active lifestyle, frequenting the gym, neighborhood parks, the driving range, and the occasional par three course. He’s also a devotee of Houston’s premier food scene. When schedules permit, Daniel and Brenda love to vacation in the Texas Hill Country, Colorado, and the Pacific Northwest.
