Desroches Partners is proud to announce the appointment of Harvin Lawhon to the role of Managing Partner. Lawhon will lead the firm in developing and realizing its strategic vision, and in bolstering the firm’s future-readiness. His day-to-day efforts will be centered around operational oversight, and in building partnerships of trust with employees and clients. Lawhon was selected to replace Jon Czerwinski, who has left the firm to pursue a new career opportunity.
Lawhon brings with him a background rich in leadership. As the founder of the firm’s assurance practice, he is known for his focus on professional and personal accountability, as well as his passion for the firm’s core values. Over his seven years with Desroches Partners, he’s been instrumental to the firm’s growth and diversification into a broader array of expertise. “Harvin is a passionate leader, and will be overwhelmingly successful with his new opportunity,” said Rod Desroches, the firm’s founding partner. “We fully expect his efforts to advance our mission of unity and growth.”
A graduate of Vanderbilt University, Lawhon’s career comprises over 18 years in public accounting. He has served a variety of industries, working directly with clients to help them achieve their goals. In addition to his work experience, Lawhon has served on various not-for-profit boards. He currently serves as an officer on the board of directors for Bo’s Place and the TXCPA Society. He will be joining the board of directors for the Houston CPA Society in 2021.
